An increasingly popular fence because of its versatility, strength and pleasing appearance. Feather edged fences are constructed by nailing overlapping individual boards vertically onto horizontal rails spanning two, or three, vertical posts.Feather edged generally costs slightly more than traditional overlap panels but is stronger and longer lasting. Sometimes feather edged fences are double-skinned allowing both neighbours to view the best side.
Featheredge boards taper from 10mm to 5mm
With a suggested overlap of 25mm (1″) the effective cover width of these boards is 100mm (4″).
